Films > “Why don't we ride zebras?”
Have you ever wondered why we don't ride zebras? Or why we aren't drinking moose milk or eating hippo hamburgers? Follow an animated zebra as he discovers the one thing keeping him from becoming a domesticated animal.
“Why don't we ride zebras?” was created in conjunction with Hannah Smith Walker’s MFA thesis “Moving Beyond Broadcast and Traditional Pedagogy: Making a Children's Documentary for the New Media Landscape”. The film is intended to be layered within an educational portal Smith Walker is developing called PodclassTV. The goal of PodclassTV will be to stimulate higher learning levels by converging science/natural history documentaries, games, lesson plans, and participatory culture.
